Priority NHS Healthcare for Veterans
Under long-standing arrangements, war pensioners in England, Scotland and Wales have been given priority NHS treatment for the conditions for which they receive a war pension, subject to clinical need
This provision has now been extended to all veterans where a person has a health problem as result of their military service. They no longer need first to have applied and become entitled to a war pension. Click for details.

Guaranteed Minimum Pension (GMP) - Error in Calculation
The Service Personnel and Veterans Agency (SPVA) is sorry to have to
inform Veteran Customers that an error has been identified in respect of a small portion of Armed Forces Pension Scheme 75 (AFPS 75) pension
Payments.  This error is in respect of the application of the Guaranteed Minimum Pension (GMP) element of the pension of some 6,000 members of AFPS 75.Click for details.

Annual General Meeting\2010
The Branch Annual General Meeting 2010  will be 1930 Thursday 4th February 2010 at the Central Branch Royal British Legion Scotland,
Rodney Street, Edinburgh.  All Branch members are invited to attend.  Items for the Agenda or Nominations for Branch Officers should be lodged with the Branch Secretary by the 14 January
